I like how Matthew Heiser commented on the idea of Chemistry having to do with the creating of medicine. I could not help but to agree with him because medicine is one of the most important uses of chemistry to date. Medicine is important to us because without it, theoretically we could all be dead. Medicine keeps us safe and healthy. Using medicinal Chemistry it might be possible to come up with new pharmaceuticals that can help prevent disease and even cancer. If this is possible that would make the world a much better place to live. Scientists can develop these medicines through testing of different chemicals that mix with each other. Chemistry and medicine is a great combination, and shows how important it is through the health of everybody because of medicine.

Oh woe is you mr. A.R. You fail to see the importance of chemistry in our lives. Certainly physics governs the laws that move planets and causes horrible, destructive car crashes, but chemistry holds the universe together (and blows it apart). Without chemistry, what would we use to blow up our enemies. Without chemistry, what would create light for us day in and day out.
